DULUTH, Ga., Sept. 29 (UPI) -- The Gospel Music Channel is introducing a new show, "Hype and Glory," which will bridge the channel's gap between gospel and hip-hop music.
The show, which is being introduced in October, will be hosted by West Coast rap veteran T-bone, said a news release from GospelMusicChannel.com.
"We're doing a new thing here," said T-Bone. "It's about the love of the music. Where else are you going to find a show that allows the audience a taste of freestyle rap and dance competitions, deejays spinning, along with some new joints by up-and-comers? Plus, we got time to chill with some true artists we all respect. 'Hype & Glory' is about people feeling all kinds of gospel flavor and bringing it to one place."
The network also appeals to Spanish speaking viewers with "Espíritu Latino," hosted by Latin gospel artist, Julissa.
