WWE's 'Umaga' dead of heart attack
Monday, December 7
LOS ANGELES, Sept. 29 (UPI) -- Fox may be adding a new U.S. show to its Sunday night lineup: "Animals," by Robert Smigel and Greg Cohen of "King of the Hill," Zap2it.com reported.
The series would use the animal kingdom to parody life in suburbia, entertainment trade papers said.
Fox has reportedly ordered a pilot of the new animated show.
Adam Sandler's production company, Happy Madison, is producing the pilot along with 20th Century Fox TV. Zap2it said Sandler and Smigel are friends from Sandler's days on "Saturday Night Live."
Fox's animated Sunday roster currently includes "King of the Hill," "The Simpsons," "American Dad" and "Family Guy."
