HOLLYWOOD, Sept. 29 (UPI) -- U.S. comedian David Spade is planning to join the cast of the CBS comedy "Rules of Engagement," Zap2it.com reported.
The star of "Benchwarmers" and "Joe Dirt" also is reportedly sticking around for a third season of Comedy Central's "The Showbiz Show With David Spade."
Similar to Spade's big screen efforts, "Rules of Engagement" comes from Sony Pictures TV-based Happy Madison. The show focuses on an engaged couple, a married couple and a single guy, the Web site said. Spade is reportedly slated to be cast as the best friend of the engaged guy (Oliver Hudson).
