NEW YORK, Sept. 27 (UPI) -- Good Charlotte's fall tour is a gift for its most devoted listeners.

"It's kind of like a surprise little tour just for our fans," says frontman Joel Madden. "It's just a tour we wanted to do for them so they could come se us play before we put out our next record and the real promotion starts on a bigger level."

The multi-platinum group hits the road Wednesday in San Francisco and will play 21 shows in clubs and theaters for the next 3 1/2 weeks.

Good Charlotte recently finished recording its fourth album, "Good Morning Revival," which is due out in early 2007. A song from the album, "Keep Your Hands Off My Girl," has been released on the Internet.
