LONDON, Sept. 20 (UPI) -- British actor Orlando Bloom has admitted to not being able to "deal with new technology" and added that he has no e-mail address and has never been on Myspace.

The star of "The Pirates of the Caribbean" franchise confesses that he has some catching up to do with technology and joked his dog Sidi is better on computers than the actor is, the Daily Mirror reported Wednesday.

The 29-year-old actor said, "I still don't have e-mail. I don't even have a computer. ... I've never been on MySpace. I just didn't want to deal with it."

He did say that he does not plan to be technologically challenged for the rest of his life, "I don't have a computer yet but I'm getting one," Bloom told the Daily Mirror.

Bloom also said on BBC2's "Extras" last week that he would never move from London to the United States.

"Maybe one day it would be a good idea to have somewhere to keep stuff so I don't have crates of luggage around the world," he said. "But I would always consider London my home."
