LONDON, Sept. 15 (UPI) -- Britain's Prince Harry is celebrating his 22nd birthday by learning armored tactics and taking part in exercises commanding troops.
The prince, an officer of the Royal Army, is on the final leg of his troop leader training based at Warminster, Wiltshire, the London Evening Standard reported.
"He will probably have a few beers in the mess with his mates," one aide told of newspaper of Harry's plans for his birthday.
Harry is to return to the Household Cavalry Regiment barracks at Windsor when he finishes his training next month.
When Harry finishes his training it could be less than a year before he is serving in a conflict zone, with both Iraq and Afghanistan are possible destinations.
