BOSTON, Sept. 14 (UPI) -- The Rolling Stones are scheduled to end their "A Bigger Bang" tour in November, but the band is considering extending the tour to Europe in 2007.
Some European dates had been canceled so guitarist Keith Richards could recover from skull surgery, Billboard reported. "A Bigger Bang" is already heading to be the highest-grossing tour in history.
Guitarist Ron Wood -- who once played with the Birds, the Creation, the Jeff Beck Group and Faces -- said he is "loving where (the band) is, musically."
Richards has been filming the third installment of Disney's "Pirates of the Caribbean," but he plans to come to the Stones' rehearsal in Boston directly from the film.
Wood said Richards promised he would wear his pirate costume and stay in character -- "so it's gonna be perfect."
