NEW YORK, Sept. 13 (UPI) -- Limited-edition action figure toys made by Kidrobot in New York's SoHo district are being sold at a temporary location during renovation and auctioned on eBay.

The toys designed primarily by famous graffiti and comic book artists also combine the talents of graphic and fine artists, fashion designers, musicians and even fans, the New York Post reported.

The editions are often produced in numbers as small as 100, creating frenzy among collectors. Closing the Kidrobot store's doors for remodeling could cause panic, the Post said.

"We have all these crazy fans, and I think we'd have a riot or something if we shut down for two weeks," owner Paul Budnitz said about his decision to open the second location.

Some of Kidrobot's plastic models include Dunny, Munny and custom-made Fat Caps, (a Dunny with a spray paint nozzle head) designed or painted by porn star Jenna Jameson, MC Lupe Fiasco, and staff members from Element Skateboards and "The Daily Show," for example.

Some of the toys will be auctioned on eBay to help "Rewrite the Future," a worldwide educational initiative benefiting children, the Post said.
