LOS ANGELES, Sept. 8 (UPI) -- FX in Los Angeles is launching a 13-episode drama, "The Riches," about a con artist married couple, starring Minnie Driver and Eddie Izzard.

The show, which debuts in 2007, is about a couple with three kids who live in suburbia, but make a living scamming, zap2it.com reported.

"We're excited to pick up FX's first 'family show,' albeit a show and a family unlike any television viewers have seen before," FX President John Landgraf said.

Playwright Dmitry Lipkin wrote the script. Carl Franklin directed the pilot in which Wayne and Dahlia Malloy move into a neighborhood under the surname Riches.

Izzard won an Emmy for his stand-up "Dress to Kill" in 1999. He has also played in "Romance & Cigarettes" and "My Super Ex-Girlfriend."

Driver received an Oscar nomination for her role in "Good Will Hunting." She was also featured in "The Phantom of the Opera" and "Gross Pointe Blank."
