Chatzky talks finance on Winfrey XM radio

CHICAGO, Sept. 7 (UPI) -- Financial expert Jean Chatzky will be host of a daily show on "Oprah & Friends," broadcast on XM Satellite Radio out of New York.

Chatzky, the financial editor for NBC's "Today" show and columnist for the New York Daily News, will join the lineup on Oprah Winfrey's channel, scheduled to premiere Sept. 25.

Chatzky was featured on "The Oprah Winfrey Show" last season with her "debt diet." She has written four books -- "You Don't Have to Be Rich," "Pay It Down!" "From Debt to Wealth on $10 a Day" and "Make Money Not Excuses."

Chatzky will join other personalities -- including Bob Greene, Mehmet Oz, Robin Smith, Marianne Williamson, Nate Berkus and Gayle King -- in presenting a broad range of programming on such topics as nutrition, fitness, self-improvement, finance, home and current events on the new channel.

Harpo Radio Inc. in Chicago will produce the content for "Oprah & Friends."
