LOS ANGELES, Sept. 2 (UPI) -- TV talk host Ellen Degeneres and her companion, actress Portia de Rossi, were not seriously hurt in a three-car collision in Los Angeles.
"She (Degeneres) had a little neck and back pain but it doesn't look like it was anything serious," Los Angeles Police Sgt. Ken Buscarino said of the Friday accident.
Degeneres apparently had stopped her black 2006 Porsche Carrera at a light and was being closely followed by a 2002 Buick Le Sabre with two men in their 20s, the New York Post reported Saturday.
Meanwhile, a third vehicle, another Porsche Carrera, slammed into the back of the Buick, which in a domino effect, hit Degeneres' vehicle.
The driver of the other Porsche was arrested for suspicion of drunken driving, the newspaper said.
None of the drivers or passengers sought hospital treatment for their minor injuries.
Degeneres, four-time Emmy winner, kicks off a new season with her syndicated TV show Monday.
