Fox adds 'Rich List' to prime time lineup

LOS ANGELES, Sept. 1 (UPI) -- Fox became the third U.S. network to add a game show to its prime time lineup this week, when it revealed plans to offer "The Rich List" this fall.

Created by the producers of "The Weakest Link," the new show will join ABC's "Set for Life" and NBC's "1 vs. 100" in this fall's prime time lineup. Fox executives have said "The Rich List" will offer viewers something unique, Zap2it.com reported.

"This is a truly original concept, unlike anything else currently on air, which promises to be exciting and addictive viewing," Fox's Mike Darnell said.

The show will feature teams of strangers competing to form the most comprehensive lists of pop trivia and book knowledge, to try to win increasing sums of prize money.

Fox has not scheduled a premiere date for the series, Zap2it.com said.
