PRAGUE, Czech Republic, Sept. 1 (UPI) -- The archbishop of Prague has criticized American singer Madonna's upcoming Czech show as unacceptable for Christians.
In a statement Friday, Cardinal Miloslav Vlk said Madonna's megashows are absolutely unacceptable for Christians because they offend the religious sensibilities of believers, Radio Prague reported.

Adressing Czechs five days before the already sold-out concert Sept. 6-7, Vlk referred to a controversial mock crucifixion scene in Madonna's Confessions world tour.
Tickets for Madonna's performance were sold out two hours after going on sale, the report said.
