LOS ANGELES, Aug. 18 (UPI) -- The first winner of NBC's "America's Got Talent" contest is Bianca Ryan, an 11-year-old singer from Philadelphia, who took the show's $1 million prize.
Selected from among 10 finalists Thursday night, Bianca is "trying to think about what I can do with all that money." But she knows she wants to give something to her family, which has backed her "150 percent this whole summer," Bianca said.
One of the show's judges, former "Baywatch" star David Hasselhoff, compared her talents to Liza Minnelli's, People reported.
"The first time we heard Bianca on the show I thought well, we can go home now," Hasselhoff told People.
Another "Talent" judge, Brandy, said Bianca could be "as big as Mariah Carey."
But despite her singing abilities, when asked what she aspires to do, Bianca said: "Act, of course. I want a show on the Disney Channel."
