BOMBAY, Aug. 16 (UPI) -- One of India's top Bollywood stars security guards has been arrested for allegedly killing another guard at the star's Bombay residence.

Bollywood star Shahrukh Khan was at his home when the shooting took place Tuesday morning, the BBC reported Wednesday. Police in Bombay were told that the shooting was an accident, but are still investigating.

Security guards in neighboring houses suggested there was an argument between the two security guards before the shooting, the BBC said.

Khan has been a household name in India since he appeared in the TV series' "Fauji and Circus" in the late 1980s. He has acted in more than 50 movies playing roles from romantic leads to villains to historical figures.
