OMAHA, Aug. 10 (UPI) -- Comedian Dustin Diamond, who played Screech on TV's "Saved by the Bell," said a 28-year-old woman broke into his Omaha hotel room to steal his video games.
Diamond was performing at the west Omaha Funny Comedy Club last week when he said a woman, armed with Mace, came into his room about 3:40 a.m., and tried to take his valuables, the Omaha World Herald reported.
When he allegedly tried to restrain her, she yelled, "Rape!"
The woman said Diamond got it backwards. He assaulted her, she said.
A spokeswoman from the Omaha police department said it was impossible to tell what had happened. No charges were filed.
Diamond, 29, made light of the incident.
"You've got to love Omaha," he said.
