LOS ANGELES, Aug. 10 (UPI) -- Barbra Streisand says she is donating $1 million from her fall concert tour to former U.S. President Bill Clinton's Climate Change Initiative.
Streisand has said she would pledge millions of dollars to a variety of causes as her tour in October and November makes its way across the United States.

Clinton's program is an effort to bring major cities around the world together in an effort to drive down greenhouse gas emissions, Streisand's representative said in a news release.
Streisand earlier said she wants to benefit organizations dealing with environmental, women's health and educational issues.
Future recipients will be announced as the singer makes her decision.
