NEW YORK, Nev., Aug. 8 (UPI) -- Political satirist Dennis Miller is returning to Fox News in New York as a contributor to "Hannity & Colmes," providing 20 TV and Web appearances.

Miller gained a recognition in the 1980s as the "Weekend Update" anchor on "Saturday Night Live" delivering humorous fictional news reports. He later released a comedy CD, "The Off-White Album" and had a Home Box Office special, "Dennis Miller: Black & White."

Miller was on "Monday Night Football" in 2000 and had his own late-night talk show, "The Dennis Miller Show," in 2004 on CNBC, TVWeek.com reported.

He is back on FOX on Sept. 13.
