NEW YORK, Aug. 8 (UPI) -- Political satirist Dennis Miller is returning to Fox News in New York as a contributor to "Hannity & Colmes," providing 20 TV and Web appearances.

He is scheduled to be back on Fox Sept. 13., TVWeek.com reported.

Miller gained recognition in the 1980s as the "Weekend Update" anchor on "Saturday Night Live," delivering humorous fictional news reports. He later released a comedy CD, "The Off-White Album" and had a Home Box Office special, "Dennis Miller: Black & White."

Miller was on "Monday Night Football" in 2000 and had his own late-night talk show, "The Dennis Miller Show," in 2004 on CNBC.
