LOS ANGELES, Aug. 7 (UPI) -- Former "Wonder Years" actor Fred Savage and his wife, Jennifer Lynn Stone, have welcomed their first child, born in Los Angeles.
People magazine reported the childhood friends, who were married in 2004, produced their first child on Saturday night when their 6 pound, 13 ounce baby boy was born.
While the actor and his 33-year-old wife have yet to name the baby, Savage's agent said they are thrilled with the birth of the healthy child.
The 30-year-old Savage first came to notice in the entertainment industry with the TV comedy "Wonder Years" in which he played Kevin Arnold, a precocious teenager whose struggles in the early 1970's were narrated by actor Daniel Stern.
Since the show concluded in 1993, Savage has continued acting and begun to work behind the camera as well with directing credits on the Disney Channel's "Phil of the Future" and on the canceled comedy "Kitchen Confidential," said People.
