NEW YORK, Aug. 4 (UPI) -- Comedian Rodney Dangerfield's widow has filed a $2 million lawsuit against her husband's ex-business partner Anthony Bevacqua in a New York court.
In the Manhattan Supreme Court lawsuit, Joan Dangerfield contends Bevacqua wrongly claims full ownership of the comedy club that he and the late Rodney Dangerfield opened together in 1969, the New York Daily News reported Friday.

"He is showing Rodney no respect -- and it is just plain wrong," Joan Dangerfield said.
Dangerfield died in 2004 at 82.
Since his death Bevacqua has refused to acknowledge his widow has a 25 percent ownership stake in the Dangerfield's club, the suit contends.
