Madonna to sing 'Confessions' in Moscow

MOSCOW, Aug. 2 (UPI) -- Singer Madonna has detailed her plans to perform songs from her album "Confessions of a Dance Floor" at a Moscow university next month.

The "Like a Prayer" singer has confirmed that she will perform in front of a Moscow State University building on Sept. 11 as part of her upcoming world tour, said Interfax.

The Moscow performance will mark a stopover for the 47-year-old singer between performances in the Czech Republic and Japan.

Madonna, who is no stranger to controversy, has come under fire recently for tracks on her "Confessions" album. Israeli rabbis claim the Kaballah-inspired singer violated Jewish law by using the name of a famed rabbi on her album.
