Five For Fighting releases fourth album

LOS ANGELES, Aug. 2 (UPI) -- The new album "Two Lights" makes it clear that Five For Fighting is more of a man -- singer-songwriter John Ondrasik -- than a band.

"All of my records are my songs, but I think the last record (2004's 'The Battle For Everything') was more of a band-oriented process and a band-sounding record," says Ondrasik, who's best known for his hits "Superman (It's Not Easy)" and "100 Years."

"This one, early on I decided I wanted to make a piano record. And I think there's more realism in these songs. "In a lot of ways it's probably the most 'John' album I've done."

"Two Lights" is Ondrasik's fourth album under the Five For Fighting moniker. He co-produced it with longtime bassist Curt Schneider and recorded it at a studio he built in Los Angeles.

Ondrasik plans to tour in support of "Two Lights" this fall.
