LOS ANGELES, Aug. 1 (UPI) -- Representatives for singer Kelly Rowland of the U.S. group Destiny's Child have denied Internet rumors that the singer is pregnant.
Zap2it.com said a statement released from Rowland's representatives has denied the rumor, which began after numerous online posts signed "Keith Slogan -- AMG (amgmusic.com)" claimed the singer had confessed to her pregnancy.
"Contrary to rumors appearing online and in the tabloids, Kelly Rowland, of Destiny's Child, is not pregnant," the statement said. "Statements attributed to Kelly regarding her alleged pregnancy were never made by the artist and a purported interview with the AMG never took place."
Rowland was last romantically linked to Dallas Cowboys safety Roy Williams. She broke off their engagement in 2005.
The 25-year-old singer is set to release her sophomore solo album "My Story ... Kelly Rowland" later this year, said the Web site.
