LONDON, July 28 (UPI) -- Nicole Kidman plans to live in London while filming "The Golden Compass," the first film for the Oscar-winning actress since she was married last month.
Kidman will be joined in England by her new husband, country music singer Keith Urban, when filming on the fantasy film begins in September, the Daily Mail reported.
"Compass" is based on the first book of author Phillip Pullman's "His Dark Materials" trilogy and will feature Kidman as a sinister socialite named Mrs. Coulter.
Representatives for the "Bewitched" actress spent the last two months working on the specifics of her contract, since director Chris Weitz and his fellow filmmakers hoped to have all the film's actors sign on for all three parts of the trilogy.
Joining Kidman on the London set will be young actress Dakota Blue Richards, who plays the film's heroine, British stage actress Clare Higgins, and -- possibly -- "The Da Vinci Code" actor Paul Bethany, the Mail said.
