LOS ANGELES, July 26 (UPI) -- Chef Rocco DiSpirito, known to TV viewers for the NBC show "The Restaurant," is filming a pilot for a new reality show for U.S. TV.
"Rocco" headlines a slate of new reality TV shows from the production company 44 Blue Productions, Daily Variety said.
DiSpirito will reportedly act as a culinary therapist on the new series, solving ordinary people's problems through the use of food.
Also on the menu for 44 Blue -- the premiere of blind interior designer Eric Brun-Sanglard's new series, "Designing Blind," and the development of a self-help show based on a book by psychologist Linda Papadopoulos.
"With the ever-increasing number of channels and proliferation of online programming, the appetite for unique reality series is fierce," 44 Blue President Rasha Drachkovitch told Variety.
