Depeche Mode birthday celebrated on stage

BENICASSIM, Spain, July 24 (UPI) -- British rock band Depeche Mode celebrated band member Martin Gore's 45th birthday while headlining at the Benicassim Festival in Spain.

Dave Gahan told the crowd it was Gore's birthday Sunday and led them in singing "Happy Birthday" before playing "Photographic," NME.com reported.

The Depeche Mode concert on the Escenario Verde stage included songs from the band's 26-year career, including "Personal Jesus." "Enjoy The Silence" and "Never Let Me Down Again," the report said.
