While the 1989 tour featured headliners such as rocker Bruce Springsteen, this year's tour will offer fans an assortment of musical acts, including Richard Marx, Edgar Winter and Sheila E.

"We change the personnel," Starr said in an interview. "That's really all we can do. There's nothing else we want to change."

All members of the tour are allowed time to take the lead and perform their own hit songs, yet also participate as back-up musicians for their fellow stars.

Also featured on this year's tour are rockers Billy Squire, Hamish Stuart, Mark Hudson, and Rod Argent of The Zombies, the Daily News said.
