MALIBU, Calif., July 12 (UPI) -- Pamela Anderson of the U.S. TV series "Baywatch" focused a recent magazine interview on her role as a mother, rather than her usual flamboyant image.
People magazine reported that the 39-year-old actress would not allow a photographer to take pictures of her bedroom -- which features a stripper pole -- for a magazine article, choosing instead to detail her relationship with her two children.
"If anyone knows about spending lots of the time on the beach, with kids and dogs in tow, it's me," the former Playboy Playmate said.
The article is set to be part of the August issue of House & Garden magazine and features Anderson discussing her sons, 8-year-old Dylan and Brandon, 10.
Not to limit her colorful image entirely in the interview, Anderson detailed her love of minimal summer clothing, People said.
"I'm obsessed with living on the beach," she said, "I love being outdoors, and think a tan is very sexy. I'll lie out on white towels strewn with pillows. I don't like to hide under hats.
