VALHALLA, N.Y., July 10 (UPI) -- Legendary 1980s rocker Pat Benatar and guitarist Cheyenne Kimball combine talents in a new U.S. ad campaign promoting a shoe line's 25-year anniversary.

The two MTV vocalists will be seen in a series of commercials jamming to Benatar's hit song "Heartbreaker" while sporting Candie's Vintage collection shoes, Entertainment Tonight reported.

Benatar was a major chart-buster in the 1980s with a musical sound that's still popular, including "Hit Me with Your Best Shot," "Invincible" and "Treat Me Right."

"I remember, 25 years ago, these were my favorite shoes -- especially this color," Benatar, 53, said, pointing to her light tan mules made by Candie's in Valhalla, N.Y.

"Any age can wear them," Kimball added.

Benatar's video "You Better Run" was only the second music video played on MTV in 1981 when the network was experimental. Kimball is boosting her career with the help of one of today's media rages in her own reality TV show on MTV.

Benatar began her national summer tour in June. Kimball's first album, "The Day Has Come," is to be released Tuesday.
