Tommy Lee lands big screen role

HOLLYWOOD, July 7 (UPI) -- Tommy Lee, formerly of rock group Motley Crue, is set to appear on the big screen in the Hollywood mob drama "10th & Wolf."

"10th & Wolf," directed by Bobby Moresco, follows a marine -- played by "Superman's" James Marsden -- who returns home and finds himself immersed in his family's ties to the Mafia, Moviehole.net reported.

Lee's involvement in the film comes as a surprise considering his limited acting experience, the Web site said. He made a cameo appearance in Cameron Crowe's "Vanilla Sky" and was seen in his wife Pamela Anderson's syndicated TV series "V.I.P."

"10th & Wolf" will also feature Dennis Hopper and Val Kilmer.

"10th & Wolf" is the feature directorial debut for Moresco, who won an Oscar with Paul Haggis for their screenplay for "Crash."
