LONDON, July 4 (UPI) -- "Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Man's Chest" star Keira Knightley arrived at its London premiere wearing jewelry said to be worth $184,000.
Knightley, 21, wore a backless bronze Gucci dress and Cartier ring, bracelet and earrings to the opening Monday night at the Odeon in Leicester Square, the London Telegraph reported.
Referring to her minimalist attire, Knightley said, "I figured it was hot outside, and if you can't wear a dress like this on a day like today, then when can you?"
The actress rose to international fame playing a soccer player in "Bend It Like Beckham."
"Pirates Of The Caribbean: The Curse of the Black Pearl" made $644 million at the box office and its sequel is expected to be a similar success.
