The Spelling legacy

LOS ANGELES, June 29 (UPI) -- TV mogul Aaron Spelling will be missed by many but his legacy continues to live on through his works.

Spelling died June 23 and was buried Sunday in Los Angeles in a private ceremony attended by family and close friends.

In his honor, an upscale, star-studded memorial has been planned for July. Another tribute will be televised, TV Land will honor Spelling's life by re-broadcasting the network's "TV Land Moguls" six-part special on Saturday, reports Entertainment Tonight.

The televised memorial will highlight some of Spelling's most memorable shows including "Charlie's Angels," "The Love Boat," "Fantasy Island," "Starsky and Hutch," "Beverly Hill, 90210" and "Melrose Place."
