DALLAS, June 29 (UPI) -- "Prison Break" actor Stacy Keach is set to take time out from filming on the hit U.S. TV series to promote his new film, "Desolation Canyon."
The new western film will air on the Hallmark Channel and features Keach as a retired gunslinger who must attempt to dissuade his son from associating with bank robbers, Zap2it.com reported.
Keach, 65, told the Web site that filming the movie proved to be a very exhausting affair.
"You're outdoors, it's hot, you're up and down on horses, you're galloping and cantering," he said. "It's physically challenging."
Since filming on "Desolation Canyon" wrapped, Keach has been enduring 90-plus degree temperatures in Dallas where he is revisiting his role as Warden Pope for the second season of the FOX prison drama, the Web site said.
