LONDON, June 29 (UPI) -- Pamela Anderson stripped to her panties at Stella McCartney's London Boutique to fundraise for People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals and to protest fur.
McCartney and Gillian Anderson also demonstrated against fur in fashion, but Anderson stole the show, hellomagazine.com reported.
"If we raise enough, I'll strip naked in the shop window," Anderson said as the party kicked off Wednesday evening. When enough donations were received, she delivered the goods, shedding her dress and bikini top.
The stunt had been planned, so a banner had been strategically placed in the window with the slogan, "We'd rather bare skin than wear skin" prevented passers-by from getting a full view.
Anderson criticized Jennifer Lopez and Beyoncé Knowles who put fur in clothing, tmz.com reported.
Awards were presented to rocker Chrissie Hynde, who has put pressure on fast-food companies and clothing manufacturers and also to Martina Navratilova.
