NEW YORK, June 28 (UPI) -- Supermodel Naomi Campbell walked into Manhattan Criminal Court regarding assault allegations but was back in just eight minutes with a reset court date.
Her exit was so quick she was ahead of her pick-up car and was surrounded by the media as she waited for the car to arrive, the New York Daily News reported Wednesday.
Campbell allegedly hit maid Ana Scolavino, 42, with a crystal-encrusted Blackberry back in March. Prosecutors on Tuesday told Criminal Court Judge Evelyn Laporte that a plea bargain was a possibility, and Laporte adjourned the hearing until Sept. 27, the Daily News said.
Campbell was also formally served with a lawsuit alleging she assaulted former maid Gaby Gibson over an argument about a pair of jeans.
