LOS ANGELES, June 26 (UPI) -- Van Diesel has dropped out of the movie "Black Water Transit" even as filming was set to begin soon in Chicago, a report says.
Diesel was set to star in the Samuel Bayer-directed film which would have had him playing a criminal attempting to transport an illegal gun collection, Moviehole.net said.

The film's producers now will attempt to recast the lead of the film, which co-stars actor Kevin Bacon, in order to begin filming later this year.
Chicago likely will play host instead this summer to the cast and crew of "Die Hard 4," the Web site reported.
