Eminem in court again for divorce

MACOMB, Mich., June 22 (UPI) -- Divorce proceedings between rapper Eminem and his wife, Kimberley Mathers, resumed Thursday in a Michigan courthouse.

The rap star, whose real name is Marshall Mathers, and his wife appeared before Court Referee David Elias in Macomb Circuit Court to discuss undisclosed matters, the Detroit News reported.

Eminem petitioned for divorce on April 5 citing "a breakdown in the marriage relationship" -- 82 days after the couple married for a second time.

Kimberley Mathers -- whose first divorce from the rapper was finalized in 2001 -- has filed a counter-complaint requesting custody of the couple's child Hailie, 10, and financial support, the paper reported.
