NEW YORK, June 7 (UPI) -- Shakira's "Hips Don't Lie" has a set a record in New York for the most radio spins in a single week.
The Nielsen Broadcast Data Systems figures indicated "Hips Don't Lie"was played 9,657 times last week, breaking the record of 9,582 set a year ago by Gwen Stefani's hit "Hollaback Girl," the New York Daily News reported Wednesday.

The song with Wyclef Jean is No. 1 on Billboard's Latin pop chart and No. 6 on the Billboard Pop 100 chart.
Jean wrote the song in 2003 under the title "Dance Like This" and performed it with Claudette Ortiz in the film, "Dirty Dancing: Havana Nights."
