NEW YORK, June 7 (UPI) -- Keith Carradine and Brian d'Arcy James will take over the leads in Broadway's "Dirty Rotten Scoundrels" next month.
Since opening in 2005, the movie-turned-musical directed by two-time Tony Award winner Jack O'Brien has been nominated for 11 Tony awards.
Carradine, winner of a Tony for best actor for "The Will Rogers Follies," will take over for Jonathan Pryce. D'Arcy James replaces Norbert Leo Butz, who won a Tony for best actor in a musical for his performance in "Scoundrels."
Comic actor Richard Kind and Sherie Rene Scott -- who originated the role of Christine Colgate in "Dirty Rotten Scoundrels" and was nominated for a Tony -- are also joining the cast.
Playbill.com reports Carradine and d'Arcy James will join the cast July 20 and then perform on a national tour beginning in August in Seattle.
