NASHVILLE, June 5 (UPI) -- The recent Reality TV Convention in Nashville drew not only fans, but compliments for the 80 reality stars who attended the event.
With reality stars from shows like "American Idol" and "Survivor" in attendance, fans praised the stars for helping them find the confidence that they too could succeed, the Tennessean reported.
"You guys were my inspiration," an audience member told stars of the show "The Biggest Loser." "What you guys went through -- I know it was for you, but you touched so many lives. I still have 200 more pounds to lose, but I have hope."
The Tennessean reports that some of the highest praise was saved for stars from the show "Survivor" for all the struggles the show put them through.
"I think you see a lot of people who could be leaders in society or role models," Nashville native David Ditmore said, "There are great lessons to be learned under adversity."
