LOS ANGELES, May 31 (UPI) -- Hollywood filmmaker Sofia Coppola is pregnant with her first child, which will also be the first grandchild for her dad -- Francis Ford Coppola.

The Oscar-winning director/writer/producer of the $40 million dollar "Marie Antoinette" and her boyfriend, Phoenix singer Thomas Mars, will welcome their baby this winter, People magazine reported Wednesday.

Coppola, 35, won her Oscar for her 2004 screenplay, "Lost in Translation."

Her dad put her in her first movie at age 19 in the final film in his "Godfather" trilogy back in 1990. She was married to director Spike Jonze from 1999 to 2003.

Mars and his band are working on their third CD, People said.

"Marie Antoinette" starring Kirsten Dunst opens in U.S. theaters in October.
