Rossdale was reported to be "a little nervous" as he dropped the No Doubt singer at the maternity ward and went to park their silver Range Rover earlier in the day, a witness told US Weekly.

"Gwen was wearing her signature red lipstick and looked so excited," a source said.

It is the first child for Stefani, 36, and the second for Rossdale, 38, who has a 16-year-old daughter from a previous relationship.

The couple met in 1995 when No Doubt toured with Rossdale's former band, Bush. They married in September 2002.
