NEW YORK, May 23 (UPI) -- Hip-hop mogul Sean "Diddy" Combs will reprise his Broadway role in the stage classic "A Raisin in the Sun" in an ABC TV movie.

The entire cast of the Tony Award-winning revival of Lorraine Hansberry's play as well as stage director Kenny Leon are on board for the ABC project, Zap2it.com reported Tuesday.

The play about a black family living on Chicago's South Side was the first Broadway show by an African-American woman. The original 1959 cast, including Sidney Poitier, Ruby Dee and Louis Gossett Jr., reprised their roles in 1961 for Hollywood's big screen adaptation of the play.
