LAS VEGAS, May 20 (UPI) -- Mary Wilson, one of the original members of the Motown hitmakers The Supremes, suffered a heart attack in Las Vegas and will have bypass surgery.

Wilson suffers from hereditary high blood cholesterol and was hospitalized with chest pains on Friday, PR Insider reported. Surgery was scheduled for Monday, a family member said.

The 62-year-old was a founding member of the 1960's chart-toppers singing with Diana Ross and Florence Ballard on such hits as "Baby Love," and "Where Did Our Love Go."

Wilson had been performing about 150 concert dates a year, her publicist Jay Schwartz said.
