Ricki Lake returns to network TV

LOS ANGELES, May 5 (UPI) -- CBS Friday said TV talk show host Ricki Lake will join the network's lineup this summer with a new game show, it was reported in Hollywood.

Lake will star in a celebrity game show called "Gameshow Marathon," set to premiere May 31, The Hollywood Reporter said.

"Marathon" is based on a British game show and produced by "American Idol's" FremantleMedia North America and Granada Entertainment USA.

Six celebrity contestants will compete in a weekly elimination-style tournament using different classic game show formats.
