Spears: My life's missing excitement
The Pacific Indemnity Insurance Co. filed suit against Kravitz in New York State Supreme Court Monday accusing Kravitz of negligence for the 2004 toilet overflow that damaged apartments below his Manhattan penthouse, The Smoking Gun reported on its Web site.
Pacific contends Kravitz should be forced to reimburse the $457,339.11 it payed out to Mark Van Lith for damages to his $2.87 million fourth-floor apartment.
Two other insurance companies have suits pending against Kravitz, seeking $333,849 and $9,387 for damages paid out to their policy holders for the leaking loo.
Kravitz bought his condo for $7.1 million in 2001 and has been trying to sell it for more than $13 million, The Smoking Gun said.
