LOS ANGELES, April 20 (UPI) -- Rolling Stones frontman Mick Jagger is reportedly in talks to appear in an untitled comedy pilot for ABC TV.
Donal Logue has been signed to star in the Touchstone Television show about a group of regular guys who decide they want to rob Jagger, The Hollywood Reporter said Thursday.
Sources said although Jagger would be crucial to the plot line, he would only appear in a few scenes. However, if the pilot becomes a series the British rocker would have to continue as the plot to rob him evolves.
The show was originally called "I Want to Rob Jeff Goldblum," but Goldblum, who has his own pilot at NBC, was never attached to the project, The Reporter said.
The Rolling Stones are set to start the European leg of their "A Bigger Bang" tour next month.
