Producers: Harrison Ford fixed our trailer

NEW YORK, April 19 (UPI) -- The producers of the new comedy "RV" say Harrison Ford once saved their family vacation by playing handyman when their trailer broke down.

Explaining how many of the scenes in the movie "RV" were inspired by a disastrous camping trip she and her family took several years ago, Lucy Fisher said she was happy the "Indiana Jones" star was along for the ride and willing to lend a hand.

"We went with a bunch of people and Harrison Ford's family was one of the families," she said. "He had been a carpenter for many years and he is handy and nobody else was and, so, we were like: 'Harrison, the toilet's broken!' 'Harrison, the electricity doesn't work!'"

A low point of the trip was when nursing mother Fisher had to use her electric breast pump while the power was out in their recreational vehicle.

"Luckily, the next trailer over on the other side was (Danny DeVito and his family,) so I actually had to knock on the door and say: 'Can we plug in? My wife needs to hook up her breast pump,'" Douglas Wick said.
