Dylan XM Radio show gets May debut

WASHINGTON, April 19 (UPI) -- XM Satellite Radio announced Wednesday U.S. folk icon Bob Dylan will start airing his weekly show on May 3.

"Theme Time Radio Hour with Your Host Bob Dylan" will feature an eclectic mix of music based around a central theme each week, XM said in a news release. Dylan will offer stories about the music as well as interviews with guests such as Elvis Costello, Charlie Sheen, Penn Jillette, Sarah Silverman and Jimmy Kimmel.

The debut show will revolve around the theme of "weather" with songs including "A Place in the Sun" sung in Italian by Stevie Wonder, "The Wind Cries Mary" by Jimi Hendrix and "Keep on the Sunny Side" by The Carter Family.

Other themes to come include "cars," "dance," "police" and "whiskey."
